Good Governance

Good Governance is the need of the hour in the development sector in order to ensure and promote application of best management practices, compliance of law and adherence to best possible ethical standards. The entire management processes and practices of Gokul Society are in compliance with the principles of Good Governance.

 

  1. Making Policies & Decisions
    Gokul Society, from the inception itself, works on a delegated work environment. Each and every person in the organization is involved in the process of decision making. Making Policy & Decision in the Society are done through a four tier system.

  2. Departments & Divisions
    The Employees under the able guidance of the Executive committee execute the plans devised by executive committee for the benefit of needy and special need persons.

  3. Executive Committee
    The Executive Committee manages the Society’s operation directly and it reports to the Management Commitee. Members of this committee are professionals working with Gokul Society.

  4. Management Committee
    The Management committee comprises of competent people from diverse backgrounds and expertise. The body is formed of independent members with eminence and reputation. Members of The Management committee hold a meeting each Quarter (every three month) and look after day to day management. The management committee also holds a meeting in a year for all members of society & involves the volunteers from different section of society to contribute their share for upliftment of extra able persons.

  5. Governance Compliance:
    Audit reports are discussed with the Executive Committee and the Management Committee to take suitable and necessary steps if required.
