Empowering Divyang Lives with Dignity
Gokul began in September 2000 as an emotional movement for the empowerment of Divyang persons in Uttarakhand under the mentorship of Shri Mohan Jaguri Ji. His guidance transformed the lives of many, including Miss Madhu Maikhuri, inspiring her to turn personal challenges into strength. Gokul now supports Divyang persons through medical, educational, vocational, physiotherapy, employment and artificial limb assistance.
In 2005 Gokul Centre was established in Dehradun with its wings Gokul Liaison Centre, Gokul Physiotherapy Centre, Gokul Computer Centre and Gokul Artificial Limb Centre.

Genesis of Gokul pain gives birth to joy
Gokul's genesis is related to the personal and physical travails of Ms. Madhu Maikhuri, Secretary, 'Gokul' who herself is polio stricken. There was a time when life felt an unending journey through pain, sufferings and mental agony.
Our Endeavours
Gokul has been regularly organizing free medical camps in different parts of the Uttarakhand state, wherein teams of specialized practitioners are brought together to attend, to advise and offer basic treatment to the needy & Special need persons.
Milestones, Awards & Recognition
Gokul since inception in 2000 has accomplished following mile stones to ameliorate the pains of thousands of life scattered in all parts of Uttarakhand. It has yet to undertake a long journey.
